What is Computational Finance, and why is it emerging as one of the most sought-after specialties at the intersection of finance and technology?

Join us to discover how cutting-edge technology, smart use of data, and AI are rapidly transforming modern finance and business — and how the Master in Computational Finance (MCF) at the School of Computing (RAF) is shaping the next generation of global financial experts.

MCF is Europe’s first integrative master’s program where world-class faculty — many with experience in leading international firms — teach practical finance and business skills through hands-on programming and data analysis. At the same time, students master Python, R, and advanced statistical methods by solving real-world challenges across finance, business, and fintech.

Launched in 2020, MCF has grown into a globally recognized program, attracting outstanding participants from Serbia and abroad. With backgrounds in economics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, and beyond — and representing all levels of seniority — our diverse student community is one of our greatest strengths. This diversity fosters collaboration, innovation, and professional growth, both during the program and beyond.

In December 2025, we are proud to welcome the 6th generation of MCF students. The Festival of Computational Finance is a celebration of this achievement and an opportunity to connect with the people shaping the future of the field.

Graduates of our program build impactful careers across a wide range of industries — from technology, AI, and financial services to energy, manufacturing, and entertainment. Whether working in asset management, fintech, risk consulting, or automation and data-driven roles, our alumni apply their skills globally in environments where finance, data, and innovation meet.

The Festival will be opened by Prof. Branko Urošević, Director of the MCF program. Attendees will then have the opportunity to engage with MCF faculty, members of the Advisory Board, and students and alumni from different generations — a vibrant and driven community working together to establish Belgrade as a global center for Computational Finance.

 The official language of the Festival and the MCF program is English.
